ADATSA Alcoholism and Drug Addiction Treatment and Support Act

What it is:

A state funded program to assist persons who are chemically dependent and who desire treatment.

Who is eligible:

Persons who:

• Are assessed as alcohol or drug dependent and incapacitated by a department-certified chemical dependency center
• Are age 18 or older
• Reside in Washington State
• Meet citizenship /alien status requirements
• Meet income and resource requirements

What it covers:

Once approved for ADATSA services, you may be eligible for up to six months of treatment in a twenty-four month period.  Covered treatment includes:

• Intensive inpatient treatment
• Long-term care residential treatment
• Recovery house treatment
• Outpatient treatment
