Client Advocacy

Access, Advocacy, and Resources

ODHH Case Management services and regional community partners are located throughout the state to provide case management to people with hearing loss, their family members, and the community. ODHH Case Managers provide direct services to people with hearing loss and their families, working to support their goals through information and access to communication to services provided by state agencies, nonprofits, businesses, and other government agencies. Case managers work with clients to obtain reasonable accommodations to meet individual communication needs. Case managers also coordinate other services with nonprofits and government agencies and provide education and training so clients can fully participate and benefit. Case managers can assist with issues including:

  • Education
  • Employment
  • Early intervention
  • Mental health
  • Housing
  • Alcohol and Substance Abuse
