RNDs with a DSHS contract for nurse delegation services are required to respond to a case manager’s request for the Skin Observation Protocol (SOP) for a client currently receiving nurse delegation services. Nurse delegation services may not be initiated solely for the purpose of providing SOP.
The links below include a PowerPoint basic training on the RND’s responsibilities for the SOP, required forms, a prevention plan to aid teaching caregivers, and other resources on pressure ulcers.
