Cell-Ed

Cell-Ed provides a mobile learning platform that BFET providers may utilize if they decide to engage in Cell-Ed’s services. BFET participants who are participating with a provider that is collaborating with Cell-Ed can use the Cell-Ed platform as a means to complete a portion of their hours if they are engaged in one of the following components: Life Skills (SL), Basic Education (BE), Job Search Training (JST), Supervised Job Search (SJS), Job Retention Services (JRS), or English Language Acquisition (ELA).

By utilizing Cell-Ed and their Skills 4 Life program, BFET participants have access to a full catalog of lessons that will help them achieve their goals in the components mentioned above. Participants will receive support from Cell-Ed’s coaches through phone, text, and email. Participants are paired with coaches based on their needs and coaches offer ongoing support and encouragement.

Cell-Ed offers a partner platform that allows BFET providers to keep track of participant progress and support staff at Cell-Ed offer ongoing help for BFET providers who choose to engage with their services.

If you are interested in engaging with the Cell-Ed platform as an option for your BFET participants, please reach out by sending a message to SWBFETPolicy@DSHS.WA.GOV.
