Life Skills

Life Skills activities are captured using the SL component. Life Skills are abilities for adaptive and positive behavior that enable individuals to manage effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life and employment. Life Skills topics include, but are not limited to:

      Work preparation

      Health and well-being

      Effective communication

      Personal strength builders

      Community engagement

 

Curriculum

If your agency is opting to include Life Skills and do not currently have curriculum, please contact SWBFETPolicy@DSHS.WA.GOV to obtain a copy of a sample life skills curriculum from other providers who offer life skills services. Agencies may use part of or the entire curriculum.

 

The SL component may be opened for a maximum of 90 days at a time with the ability to update on expiration.
