Given recent legislation mandating state agencies to develop and monitor measures of agency performance it is important for the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) to collect data for monitoring program performance in the DSHS Strategic Plan. This program monitoring complies with requirements of the statute governing the Budget. Accounting and Reporting System (RCW 43.88), as amended through Engrossed Substitute Senate Bill 6680.
