We evaluated the effectiveness of three pilot employment programs that serve Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) ADATSA (Alcoholism and Drug Addiction Treatment and Support Act) clients. Two of these programs, VOTE, in Pierce County, and ABILITIES, in King County, are funded directly or indirectly by the Bureau of Alcohol and Substance Abuse. The third program, Rapid Rehab Resolution (RRR) is a direct DSHS Division of Vocational Rehabilitation operation in Spokane County. As these are all fairly new programs only 89 cases were available for study (and missing data reduced these numbers somewhat).
