The Washington State History Museum, The Tacoma Art Museum and the Museum of Glass aim to increase public access to arts and culture in Tacoma by offering a reduced admission charge of $1 per person or $2 per family to patrons presenting their Washington Quest EBT Cards.
Admissions include the many programs offered at the museums, such as lectures, film screenings and workshops. To receive the discounted rate at participating museums, visitors need to present their EBT card at admissions. The EBT card cannot be used to purchase the admission.
Seattle Museum of History & Industry, 860 Terry Ave N, is open from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Thursdays in July and August, 10 am–8 pm, First Thursday of the month, 10 am–8 pm
The Washington State History Museum, 1911 Pacific Ave, is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Admission is free from 3-8 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month.
The Tacoma Art Museum, 1701 Pacific Ave., is open from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and until 8 p.m. on Thursdays in March through June). Admission is free from 5-8 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month.
The Museum of Glass, 1801 Dock Street, is open from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free from 5-8 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month.
