Thank you to all the Christinas out there who are going the extra mile to ensure clients are healthy, safe and happy.
While shoppers around the world are buying toilet paper as quickly as stores can get it on the shelves, many don’t realize the impact this can have on individuals with complex needs. Bringing the point home is Christina Race, a case resource manager for DDA, who recently realized one of her clients was suffering because of the family’s inability to find baby wipes at local stores. The client’s fear of water requires the use of wet wipes to help with hygiene tasks. Knowing there had to be a way to get resources to the family, Christine reached out to the managed care organization. The MCO provided Christina with information she could share with the family to get wipes delivered to their home. The wipes were there within two days.
