Tribes can now work with DVR to develop a School-to-Work Program to meet their needs and provide culturally responsive School-to-Work services to tribal members. DVR follows a government-to-government process when contracting with Tribes using an Indian Nation Program Agreement (INPA). The two types of available INPAs for School-to-Work are:
- School-to-Work Program Development –This Agreement provides Tribes with support and reimbursement to establish a School-to-Work Program within the Tribal community.
- School-to-Work Direct Service – This Agreement offers a fee-for-service to Tribes to support DDA eligible tribal member students living with intellectual and developmental disabilities to find a job before they leave high school.
