Direct Support Professional: Work for a privately contracted agency that provides 24-hour support and life skills training in Supported Living or Group Homes.

Attendant Counselor: Provide direct care and support as a state employee in one of several state-operated programs and facilities located throughout Washington. Provide one-on-one support as a contracted residential provider.

Contract with us to work directly with someone who is approved to receive one of the following services. No prior experience is needed. Training will be provided to you.

Companion Home Provider: 24/7 support for one person who lives in the home with you.

Alternative Living Provider: Provide teaching and instruction to one person who lives in their own home. Set your own schedule and work with one or more people in their home and in the community.

Provide personal care as an Individual Provider.

Become an Individual Provider for someone who is approved for personal care or respite services. IPs are not contracted or hired by DDA. Becoming an IP is a multi-step process that starts with Consumer Direct Care Network Washington as your employer, with training provided by SEIU 775 Benefits Group. DDA does not hire or train IPs. To get started, visit the Apply to be a Caregiver CDWA webpage. To complete your training, visit SEIU 775 Benefits Group and select your provider type. Be sure to log into My Benefits and the Caregiver Learning Center to enroll in training.

Operate your own contracted residential provider agency for adults.

Become a Supported Living provider who hires direct support professionals to offer instruction and support to adults in their home and community. Services are offered in integrated settings and support personal power, choice and engagement in community activities.
