Immigration-Related Legal Services are available for Afghans, Ukrainians and refugees.

Services for Afghans and Ukrainians

Services include:

  • Basic legal orientation.
  • Immigration-related trainings and workshops.
  • Consultations and interviews to determine eligibility for immigration benefits.
  • Completion of immigration-related forms.
  • Continued full scope of immigration case management/representation services.

Services for Refugees

Services include:

  • Immigration-focused workshops.
  • Immigration clinics.
  • Immigration Legal Services include:
  • Adjustment of Status.
  • Employment Authorization.
  • Limited number of other immigration applications.
  • Immigration case management.

Eligibility for Refugees

Individuals may be eligible for Immigration-Related Legal Services for Refugees if they:

  • Are 16 years of age or older.
  • Are current residents of Washington state.
  • Have lived in the United States for five years or less.
  • Have not naturalized as U.S. citizens.
  • Have an immigration status that makes them eligible for federally funded refugee services from the U.S. Office of Refugee Resettlement. For more information about ORR eligibility, visit our Frequently Asked Questions page.

Eligibility for Afghans

Individuals may be eligible for Immigration-Related Legal Services for Afghans if they:

  • Are 16 years of age or older.
  • Are current residents of Washington state.
  • Have an immigration status that makes them eligible to receive benefits and services under the Afghanistan Supplemental Appropriation Act. For more information about ASA eligibility, visit our Frequently Asked Questions page.

Eligibility for Ukrainians

Individuals may be eligible for Immigration-Related Legal Services for Ukrainians if they:

  • Are 16 years of age or older.
  • Are current residents of Washington state.
