Access and Visitation Program

As a parent, the subject of child custody can be hard to navigate. No matter how cordial parents are at the end of their relationship, disagreements can easily arise over visitation schedules. That’s where the Division of Child Support’s Access and Visitation program can help.

We contract with organizations across the state to provide parents services for mediation, development of parenting plans, guidelines for visitation and alternative custody arrangements, supervised or monitored visitation, neutral exchange/drop off, counseling and parent education. With the assistance of a neutral professional, our goal is to help parents work together to resolve their visitation and access issues.

The services offered by these organizations vary and may not be available in all areas of the state. The services are available for free or at a reduced cost for low-income families.

Please reach out directly to the organization nearest you.

Our unique database enables you to search for services by distance from a specific location or address and gives you access to directions via Google maps. You will also find clear instructions on how to contact the organization, a description of the services offered, and details about associated costs, if any, for each resource. It is easy to use and you can navigate among different resources without leaving the map.
