DCS’s automated KIDS phone system is available 24 hours a day/7 days a week in English and Spanish. Our live customer service is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., in multiple languages. Please note that we are unable to take payments over the phone.
You can use our automated phone system to:
- Check the date and the amount of the last five payments on a case.
- Stop payment on a lost or stolen check (for custodial parents).
- Learn how to enroll in DCS’s debit card program or set up direct deposit.
- Request an application to receive child support.
- Find the nearest DCS office.
- Contact your case manager.
The KIDS Line also provides information about how to establish parentage and change an existing child support order, as well as how your IRS refund could be affected if you owe back child support.
Some of the above options will require you to enter your case number and social security number.
